Atwell’s Portland Office Promotes Kevin Apperson, RLA to Senior Project Coordinator

Atwell, LLC is pleased to promote Kevin Apperson, RLA to senior project coordinator in the company’s real estate and land development group in the western region. Based in Portland, Oregon, Apperson will be responsible for project coordination and execution, managing client relationships, monitoring project statuses, providing quality control, maintaining project budgets and schedules, and continuing high-quality work in the areas of landscape architecture, planning, and permitting.
With more than 35 years of experience in land use planning and landscape architecture, Apperson’s background includes all facets of land development projects, from due diligence studies and planning to design and permitting services. His areas of expertise include residential, commercial, industrial, and public park development. He is particularly knowledgeable about entitlements and helping clients navigate through the land use and permitting process and has been instrumental in the development of over numerous residential subdivisions and commercial development projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and California.
Prior to Atwell, Apperson worked at multi-disciplinary engineering firms where he performed entitlements and permitting services, as well as a park planning/landscape architectural consulting firm where he completed system-wide comprehensive plans for parks/ recreation facilities, needs assessments, and operational studies. He also worked with the City of Eugene on a variety of long-range planning projects and current land use and zoning applications. He earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, and is a registered landscape architect in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
