Atwell, LLC is pleased to promote Joseph Snodgrass to project manager in the power and energy division. Based in Greenwood Village, Colorado, Snodgrass will be responsible for project coordination and execution, managing his project team and their deliverables, maintaining project budgets and schedules, and promoting and expanding Atwell’s power and energy market.

Snodgrass has been working professionally in power delivery consulting for six years. He has extensive experience in wind and solar collection design, battery energy storage, small generation interconnection, distribution design and engineering, system planning and protection, construction standards, and system evaluation. He has completed projects throughout the United States including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, South Dakota, Missouri, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and Texas.

At Atwell, Snodgrass has performed electrical studies, coordinated design and engineering teams, managed the development of design drawings, built proprietary configurations of automated utility design software to improve design efficiency, created a model to determine the size and duration of a battery energy storage system to maximize solar penetration while managing backfeed, performed a feasibility study for battery storage to support voltage in outage conditions in remote locations, and managed the creation of more than 200 overhead and underground standards for a municipal utility in Washington. Snodgrass earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin, and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Colorado.
