Provided land surveying for 35-mile length of crude oil
pipeline located between Stockbridge Station and Freedom Junction
Station in southeast Michigan.
Atwell provided all pre-construction surveying services and
preparation of parcel maps for 150 land parcels. The project
scope included preliminary and revised alignments, field location
of existing parallel pipeline, alignment drawings, wetland mapping
and easement legal descriptions.
A high-accuracy GPS control network was established, along with
location and placement of target panels for aerial
photography. Provided cross-sections at road, stream,
railroad crossings and preparation of condemnation documents.
Atwell also provided site surveys and site plans for associated
facilities including a pumping station, tankage, valves and meter
stations
